Came here for my formal and the staff was so kind and attentive! They accommodated to all of my allergies and made sure I had alternatives to the food being served. Location is beautiful and the tables were set up wonderfully!

I booked a 3-night stay for my mother (and her dog) at the Simsbury Inn and was delighted to hear the staff treated her like a queen. They were kind, courteous and very responsive. Her pet-friendly room was nice and comfortable and the food was great. Beautiful lobby and dining area to enjoy morning coffee and meals. But the real standout was exceptional service from Whitney at the front desk. So thoughtful and helpful. I’ll book again soon!

Our experience at The Simsbury Inn was nothing short of exceptional. We chose this venue because of their extensive knowledge and experience with food allergies, and they exceeded every expectation by creating a completely Celiac-friendly, gluten-free wedding from start to finish. It was incredibly important to us, and they executed it so seamlessly that most of our guests had no idea the entire menu was gluten free. The chef was phenomenal, delivering food that guests are still raving about—many said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We were even able to have a beautiful three-tier cake that was both gluten- and nut-free, which was so meaningful to us. Knowing the team had prior experience with Celiac weddings gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy the day without worry. From a planning perspective, Philip made everything effortless. He was consistently responsive, answered every question thoroughly, and ensured the entire day ran smoothly. He even checked in on us while we were getting ready in the Talcott Room, which we loved—especially since it adjoins the bridal suite and made getting ready so convenient. The venue itself was spotless, elegant, and thoughtfully organized. We appreciated that pricing was transparent from the start, with no unexpected costs added along the way. We held our ceremony indoors, and the staff did an amazing job transitioning the space for the reception while setting up all of our décor perfectly. Cocktail hour in the Evergreen Room was spacious and comfortable, giving guests plenty of room to relax and socialize. We also loved that we were the only wedding on site that day, which made the experience feel private and special. There were so many beautiful photo locations, and the convenience of having guests stay on-site in our room block meant no transportation logistics to worry about. My friend and I stayed here for a wedding. The beds were so comfy. We only stayed one night! The complimentary breakfast was so nice, i wish we had time for the pool!

Had a wonderful stay at The Simsbury Inn. The hotel has a warm, classic atmosphere with beautiful surroundings and a very relaxing environment. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall property felt peaceful and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the stay, making the experience even more enjoyable. Beautiful place to stay with very pleasant and accommodating staff. I was only there for 1 night, but the room was spotless and the bed with pillows and comforter were a pleasure to sink into. Nice touches as well, with specially bottled spring water and fresh cookies on the pillow for a late night snack. Also, being set back from the road, there was no traffic noise.

What a beautiful and charming inn! I loved everything about it. The restaurant food was delicious, and the breakfast was fresh and excellent. The coffee was amazing, and the organic milk was such a nice touch. The area is beautiful, and the parking was extremely convenient. I also felt very safe staying there with my two small children. Definitely going back again!

In January, 2026, My father and I stayed at the Simsbury Inn for 3 nights because we were in Ct for my dads brother’s memorial and we really enjoyed it. The Simsbury Inn was decorated very nicely and it was a beautiful, lively atmosphere. It was snowing a lot and it looked like a winter wonderland. The front desk staff, especially, Whitney, were super nice, friendly and helpful. Whitney really went out of her way to help us and make sure we had everything we needed. The cleaning staff and Inn caretakers, were also very nice and did an incredible job! The Inn passed my clean test and I am a retired house cleaner myself. It was easy to get to things from there too, 5mins-30mins. Don’t go through a third party like, Expedia, they don’t let you cancel, or change anything even if it’s right after making the reservations. It is best to go through the Inn directly. It is costly per night though and it would be great if they would give you a %off if you stay more than 2 nights and for going directly through them.
